Data Management Analyst

In this role you will focus on administrating the financial planning systems. This position is responsible for maintaining and supporting the Planning applications (primarily Oracle ePBCS) including dimension set up, loading and reconciling actuals and user set-up. This position will play a significant role in supporting FP&A’s management reporting as well as the budget and forecast processes.

In this role you will facilitate the governance process over the Planning applications in coordination with the overall planning processes. This will include, but is not limited to, maintaining a cohesive and organized administrative function consisting of establishing a meeting cadence, establishing structured processes and operational guidelines, and maintaining a clear communications process regarding the planning process and systems. In this role you will also be a contributor to improvement and expansion of the planning systems as we enhance and develop new capabilities that add value to and drive PTC’s strategic objectives.

Your Team
This is an independent contributor role within PTC’s FP&A organization. Embedded in the Corporate Reporting, Governance and FP&A Tools group.
 

Day-to-Day Responsibilities include:

• Administrating and facilitating the FP&A Oracle ePBCS planning tool in support of Monthly Management
• Reporting, Monthly Budgeting and Planning Process, Annual Planning Process, and Annual Long Range Planning Process
• User Support. Work directly with the users on a daily basis to enable them to use the Planning Tools as designed and develop new and innovative ways to use the application. Assist and conduct end-user training in ePBCS and SmartView.
• Quarterly Close, Annual Budget and Quarterly Forecast Process: Provide expertise to the FP&A team in the aggregation of the quarterly forecast and annual budget.
• Work with IT for all planning tool administration items including task coordination for monthly operational processes and issue resolution.
• Assist on continuous improvement on the planning tool through initiating improvement efforts, contributing to architecture and design decisions on Planning Tool enhancement projects, support development and testing efforts, and signing off and supporting migration to production of completed
  enhancement artifacts.

• Hands on experience implementing or administrating Hyperion Planning/EBCS or Essbase
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
• Ability to liaise between technical and non-technical staff.
• Dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service to internal customers
• Helpful, understanding of financial statements and consolidation processes

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or IT.
