About The Role:
CloudRock is recruiting for a Workday Certified Data Lead who will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing aspects of delivering HR and/or Finance data architecture and conversion services to our customers. CloudRock is an HR and Finance digital transformation consultancy working with leading technologies such as Workday, Oracle and SAP for our global customers.
This role requires a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of data strategy and governance, data architecture and infrastructure. The Data Lead will deliver as a data architect/lead on ERP implementations and continue to enhance the CloudRock tools and methodology. The ideal candidate possesses strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a passion for driving data-driven initiatives.
Key Job Responsibilities
Data Strategy and Governance:
Develop and implement a comprehensive data strategy aligned with organizational goals for customers.
Establish and enforce data governance policies and procedures to ensure data quality, accuracy, and security to comply with data protection and sensitivity requirements and local regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define and prioritize data requirements.
Data Architecture and Infrastructure:
Design, implement, and manage robust data architectures and infrastructure.
Oversee the development and maintenance of databases, data warehouses, and other data storage solutions where applicable.
Evaluate and recommend new technologies to enhance data capabilities.
Data Analytics and Insights:
Lead the development of advanced analytics and reporting solutions.
Work closely with reporting analytics teams and domain leads to derive meaningful insights from data.
Drive the adoption of data-driven decision-making processes throughout the organization.
Data Quality and Compliance:
Implement and monitor data quality initiatives to ensure accuracy and reliability of customer data as part of ERP projects.
Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and industry standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to understand their data needs and deliver quality solutions accordingly.
Collaboration and Communication:
The role will report into the data domain lead and will work closely with them to improve in-house capabilities
Work closely with business leaders to understand their strategic objectives and align data initiatives under guidance of the data domain lead.
Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Collaborate with IT and other departments to integrate data solutions into existing systems.

HR, Finance, CRM & inventory
The Ideal Candidate
Workday Certification is essential
Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology).
Proven experience in a leadership role within a data-driven environment.
Strong technical skills in data architecture, data modelling, and database management.
Extensive experience as a data lead on ERP implementations for tier 1 solutions such as Workday, Oracle and SAP including definition of data conversion and retention approaches, definition and execution of data extract, transform and load plans and management of data validation and data catch up.
Proficient in data analytics tools and languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R, ETL’s).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience with data governance, compliance, and privacy regulations.
Ability to lead and inspire a team to achieve organizational objectives.
