Data Lead acts as a crucial link between individual Data Object Owners, the broader data governance structure, and the specific business functions they oversee.
This role plays a key part in ensuring that data management practices align with business objectives while maintaining a high standard of design quality, ensuring dependencies are considered and compliance requirements are met within their functional cluster.
Main goal is to guide and support Data Owner as Coach, within following Data Cluster (Asset Management).

Accountable to ensure consistency between solution design of data objects in scope (mainly: Equipment Master, Project Definition, WBS, Network Activities and Project Forecast), specifically: processes, business rules, data model and data quality metrics within the process definition and data lifecycle topics.
Accountable to enable a seamless solution design across data objects (e.g., ensuring conversion design with Field Mappings and Migration Design Documents)
Responsible for Strategy & Roadmap in the respective cluster
Responsible for ensuring legal compliance and separation of tasks and support in the definition/ further development of status management and development of existing & generation of new data sources within data lifecycle topic
Conducting regular alignments with Data Object Owners, tracking progress of deliverables
Communicate from Data Management Tower to Data Object Owners
Supports at a strategic level with regards of vision and strategy, object and portfolio management, organizational (re-) design, communication and change management
Supports in the technology and architecture topic, being consulted in the classification and system-related documentation
Gives support in the authorization concept, documentation of guidelines, release management and implementation planning, being consulted in the communication of implementation plan.
Your Skills and Expertise:
In-depth functional knowledge of data design, especially about data & BPM processes
Strong knowledge of data flows across system landscape and business rules to improve data quality
Strong understanding of data management principles (e.g., MDM, Data Quality, Data Migration, Governance)
Proven experience in asset management Data Objects and Processes
Good understanding of existing technology architecture and systems involved
Effective & proactive communicator
Proven management capabilities
Agile project management skills
Bachelor’s degree in data management, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
5+ years of experience in asset management, data governance, or master data management roles.
Strong background in managing data within ERP/EAM systems
Proven experience leading cross-functional data projects or initiatives.
Fluent English—both written and spoken
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in data governance or master data management roles.
Knowledge of international standards for asset data
Prior experience in a manufacturing, utilities, energy, or heavy industry environment.
