Excel Data Specialist

LeoTech was founded by former law enforcement officers (LEOs) who recognized the need for a more efficient, effective way to monitor authorized inmate correctional facility communications and quickly search for critical information.  Manually listening to millions of calls was not humanly possible, so we developed the technology to solve these challenges.  Verus, our patented search and analytics platform, continuously monitors communication, unlocks critical information, and provides actionable insights to help mitigate activity, solve crimes, and assist with mental health issues.  Our mission is to enhance public safety using innovative technology.

This is an opportunity for an entry-level Data Specialist with a strong foundation in data integration and automation. This remote role requires a self-motivated professional who can work independently with minimal supervision.

Core Responsibilities

• Automate data workflows using Excel and moving to Microsoft Power Platform, SharePoint, Imply, and Pendo to streamline business operations.
• Maintain and update data structures to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
• Optimize storage and organization of data for business reporting.
• Assist in bridging data entry and collection processes.
• Develop automation solutions for repeatable processes within Microsoft Power Platform.
• Ensure data consistency across multiple platforms for daily business operations.

What We Value

• Bachelor’s degree in Business/Statistics/Mathematics/Computer Science, or Information Management
• OR
• Up to 2 years of experience in databases and data management.
• Proficiency in relational databases, data security, and dashboard creation.
• Strong analytical skills to develop data-driven integrations.
• Effective time management and ability to meet deadlines.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, graphs, charts).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong critical thinking and attention to detail.
• General knowledge of business operations, strategy, and information flow.
