Core Responsibilities

Historical data migration and alignment

  • Manually remap, transform, and validate in-year and historical actuals from two legacy planning systems into a single planning platform.
  • Resolve structural, field-level, and granularity differences to align with the target data model; reconcile results at record and aggregate levels to ensure completeness and accuracy.

Analytical continuity

  • Standardize legacy and current data to the target architecture to enable consistent year-over-year reporting and trend analysis.
  • Maintain cross-system comparability by defining and applying clear mapping rules, hierarchies, and crosswalks for metrics and dimensions.

Documentation and auditability

  • Create and maintain audit-ready documentation of mapping logic, transformation rules, validation checks, and reconciliation outcomes.
  • Establish version-controlled artifacts (e.g., mapping tables, data dictionaries, SOPs) to support audit requirements and provide a durable reference for future integrations.

Collaboration and quality control

  • Partner with data engineering, reporting, finance, and business stakeholders to validate outputs, gather feedback, and align on acceptance criteria.
  • Proactively identify inconsistencies, perform root-cause analysis, and resolve issues in a structured, traceable manner; communicate status, risks, and impacts.

As a Data Integration Analyst, you oversee the migration of marketing investment data from various legacy systems to a unified platform. You take charge of remapping, validating, and reconciling records, addressing structural differences to ensure they fit the new architecture. Your efforts also facilitate knowledge transfer across teams, making a significant impact on how we work together.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Demonstrated experience in data migration, mapping, and reconciliation across disparate systems and data models.
  • Advanced Excel proficiency (nested formulas, lookups/INDEX‑MATCH, pivot tables) and working knowledge of BI/reporting tools (Power BI preferred) and semantic layer concepts.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage and quality‑check large, complex historical datasets.
  • Strong documentation and process-tracking skills, including creating audit-ready artifacts and maintaining version-controlled materials.
  • Experience in marketing investment, finance, or procurement data environments is an advantage

Preferred tools and technical skills:

  • Databricks (SQL, Python); builds auditable transformations and reconciliations in a bespoke cloud environment.
  • Strong SQL; ETL/ELT and orchestration (e.g., Databricks Jobs, ADF/Airflow) for repeatable migration pipelines.
  • Power BI/semantic models; advanced Excel/Power Query; Git-based version control; solid data modelling and data quality practices.
