Please note: This is a 12-month cover role at Lead Professional level, based out of our vibrant LEGO Campus (Billund). Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
Core Responsibilities
Historical data migration and alignment
- Manually remap, transform, and validate in-year and historical actuals from two legacy planning systems into a single planning platform.
- Resolve structural, field-level, and granularity differences to align with the target data model; reconcile results at record and aggregate levels to ensure completeness and accuracy.
Analytical continuity
- Standardize legacy and current data to the target architecture to enable consistent year-over-year reporting and trend analysis.
- Maintain cross-system comparability by defining and applying clear mapping rules, hierarchies, and crosswalks for metrics and dimensions.
Documentation and auditability
- Create and maintain audit-ready documentation of mapping logic, transformation rules, validation checks, and reconciliation outcomes.
- Establish version-controlled artifacts (e.g., mapping tables, data dictionaries, SOPs) to support audit requirements and provide a durable reference for future integrations.
Collaboration and quality control
- Partner with data engineering, reporting, finance, and business stakeholders to validate outputs, gather feedback, and align on acceptance criteria.
- Proactively identify inconsistencies, perform root-cause analysis, and resolve issues in a structured, traceable manner; communicate status, risks, and impacts.

As a Data Integration Analyst, you oversee the migration of marketing investment data from various legacy systems to a unified platform. You take charge of remapping, validating, and reconciling records, addressing structural differences to ensure they fit the new architecture. With your attention to detail and strict quality controls, you guarantee data accuracy and consistency for reporting and analytics. Your efforts also facilitate knowledge transfer across teams, making a significant impact on how we work together.
Do you have what it takes?
- Demonstrated experience in data migration, mapping, and reconciliation across disparate systems and data models.
- Advanced Excel proficiency (nested formulas, lookups/INDEX‑MATCH, pivot tables) and working knowledge of BI/reporting tools (Power BI preferred) and semantic layer concepts.
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage and quality‑check large, complex historical datasets.
- Strong documentation and process-tracking skills, including creating audit-ready artifacts and maintaining version-controlled materials.
- Experience in marketing investment, finance, or procurement data environments is an advantage
Preferred tools and technical skills:
- Databricks (SQL, Python); builds auditable transformations and reconciliations in a bespoke cloud environment.
- Strong SQL; ETL/ELT and orchestration (e.g., Databricks Jobs, ADF/Airflow) for repeatable migration pipelines.
- Power BI/semantic models; advanced Excel/Power Query; Git-based version control; solid data modelling and data quality practices.
