Job Description
If you want to grow your career in data visualization and have a passion for data analytics then our Consumer and Community Bank has the role and team for you. With a variety of opportunities to expand and refine your skills and expertise, joining our Data Analytics and Reporting Teams (DART) will facilitate it as you "tell the story\" with data, and building dashboards, adhoc reporting, and presentations along with so much more.
As a Data & Insights Senior Analyst in the Data Analytics and Reporting Team, you will be responsible for gathering requirements from business partners, determining the best way to \"tell the story\" with data, and building dashboards, adhoc reporting, and presentations as appropriate. We deliver high-quality dashboards to a wide range of audiences across the Consumer and Community Bank (CCB). Data is usually related to call center and scorecard metrics, but may also venture into smaller areas of CCB as well.
Job responsibilities

  • Take vague non-data requirements and propose data solutions that will best fulfill customers' needs
  • Collect data from a variety of sources and transform into optimally organized datasets.
  • Perform statistical analysis on large data sets, leading to insights about improving the business, using tools such as Alteryx, R, Tableau, etc.
  • Build and automate aesthetically-pleasing, user-friendly Tableau dashboards that effectively \"tell the story\" of data insights.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to executive audiences, including but not limited to dashboard demos and explanations of analysis
  • Organize and manage projects effectively


Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, or related field
  • 5+ years' experience in analytics
  • Experience with Alteryx or similar data manipulation tool
  • Experience with Tableau or similar data visualization tool and knowledge of best practices within data visualization and user experience
  • Proficient in SQL; ability to write queries optimally and familiarity with complex calculations (e.g. Tableau LODs)
  • Ability to deliver results quickly while also maintaining data integrity and accuracy
  • Proven ability to work independently with minimal guidance, manage shifting priorities and projects, and deliver on time.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in written presentations
