The Opportunity
As an Insights and Analytics Specialist, you will be responsible for analyzing data, generating actionable insights, and providing strategic recommendations to enhance our business operations and drive growth. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify trends, measure performance, and support data-driven decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Analyze data to identify patterns, trends, and insights that inform business strategies.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Conduct segmentation analysis to understand different groups and their behaviors.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and sales teams to provide data-driven recommendations.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to satisfaction, retention, and acquisition.
- Design and conduct surveys, focus groups, and other research methods to gather feedback.
- Utilize advanced analytics techniques, such as predictive modeling and machine learning, to forecast behavior and trends.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in analytics and insights.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Marketing, Business, or similar work experience >5 years in a related field.
- Proven experience in insights, data analysis, and business intelligence.
- Proven experience with data engineering tools and methodologies, including dbt (data build tool) for transforming and modeling data in data warehouses.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software, such as SQL, Python, Looker Studio, Tableau, Power BI, etc.
- Solid understanding of database technologies, including relational databases (e.g., MariaDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL), NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB), and data warehousing solutions (e.g., Big Query, Snowflake).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Knowledge of statistical analysis and advanced analytics techniques.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
