About your role:
The Data Insight and Optimisation Analyst works with key stakeholders to understand problems and create data-driven solutions using a range of data analysis and visualisation tools. This role involves building data pipelines, analysing data, and creating reports to help make decisions and improve performance. The analyst ensures data accuracy and compliance with regulations and collaborates with teams to maintain data quality. By improving efficiency and customer satisfaction, the Data Insight and Optimisation Analyst supports the organisation’s goals.
- Data Pipeline Management & Integration: Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using SQL and Azure Databricks, ensuring seamless data flow and accurate insights.
- Stakeholder Collaboration & Reporting: Work with stakeholders to create insightful Power BI reports and dashboards, uncover trends, and support strategic initiatives for improved performance.
- Query Optimisation & Advanced Analytics: Develop and optimise queries using SQL and Hive QL, and perform advanced analytics with R and Python to support customer-centric initiatives.
- Automation & Data Solutions: Implement automated data solutions with Power Automate, streamline ETL processes, and ensure data accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Performance Analysis & Customer Insights: Conduct deep dives into operational performance, analyse customer experience, and provide actionable insights to drive improvements and enhance customer service.
Here's what we’re looking for:
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Expertise in Power BI, SQL Server Management Studio, and advanced Excel for data analysis, reporting, and dashboard creation.
- Data Integration & Transformation: Proficient in Azure Databricks, ETL processes, and Hive QL for managing and transforming large datasets.
- Programming & Analytics: Advanced skills in R and Python for statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and data visualisation.
- Automation & Process Improvement: Experience with Power Platform applications (Power Apps, Power Automate) and identifying automation opportunities for process optimisation.
- Project Management & Stakeholder Engagement: Knowledge of Agile/Lean methodologies and experience working with stakeholders across multiple management levels.
