The Product Data Governance Specialist (Entry Level) ensures the accuracy, consistency, and compliance of product data across systems. This role enables the business to operate through data entry, quality checks, hierarchy management, and policy enforcement while collaborating with stakeholders to maintain high data standards.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Perform accurate and timely product data entry across required systems, following established standards and workflows.
- Conduct routine data quality checks, audits, and basic analysis to identify discrepancies or opportunities for improvement.
- Maintain product hierarchies and category structures to support reporting and analytics needs.
- Document and update product data definitions, rules, and standard operating procedures.
- Partner with stakeholders to clarify data requirements and ensure consistent interpretation of standards.
- Support enforcement of governance policies, including taxonomy, naming conventions, and attribute standards.
- Monitor incoming product data requests and resolve issues using established escalation paths.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to data quality, processes, and governance tools.
- Provide guidance or basic training to stakeholders on product data processes and best practices.

- Ability to learn enterprise systems (MDM/PIM platforms, ERP, CRM, analytics tools).
- Strong analytical thinking and ability to identify inconsistencies in data.
- Basic experience with SQL, Power BI, or data visualization tools.
- Advanced English proficiency in both oral and written communication.
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
- Experience working with product data, item masters, or catalog management (academic, internship, or project experience acceptable).
- Exposure to MDM/PIM systems (e.g., Informatica, Profisee, Stibo, SAP/Oracle item master modules).
