Classify merchant and product data into accurate channels, brands, and categories using a custom data-cleanup tool. Research merchants, brands, and categories to validate classification accuracy; learn and apply new tool features; document and improve data hygiene processes; meet deadlines; and collaborate across teams while managing shifting priorities. Evening IST availability is required for meetings with the US-based team, along with asynchronous Slack communication.

We are in search of creative and self-driven candidate to help establish an efficient and standardized
data cleaning and quality process.
You’ll work with a custom-built software tool and help classify both merchant and product-level data
across all industry verticals. You’ll have the unique opportunity to help with data classification work, but
also build a holistic data quality management system.
Availability will be required in the evenings (IST) for meetings with our US based-team thus, the shift
timings would be hybrid; Additionally, asynchronous communication via Slack will be required for this
position.
Preferred Qualifications
• 1+ years of data entry or data analysis experience
• SQL skills and an understanding of the United States retail landscape are a plus
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills
• Working experience with business software tools (Google Sheets & Slides; Microsoft Excel &
PowerPoint, etc.)
• An entrepreneurial spirit, positive attitude and creative approach to your work
What you’ll do:
• Work efficiently on data classification assignments to categorize merchant and product data to the
correct channel, brand, and category outputs
• Learn how to use new features in the clean-up tool and incorporate them into your workflow
• Conduct research on merchants, brands and categories to gain insight into classification accuracy
• Document, refine, and share ideas on how to improve the data hygiene process
• Meet or exceed deadlines set by Data Hygiene team
• Collaborate with a variety of teams with strong attention to detail and ability to manage shifting
priorities and assignments
Skills Required
- At least 1 year of data entry or data analysis experience
