Data & Analytics (D&A) is a critical enabler for growth across the markets, by leading the Data & Analytics strategic vision & roadmap, building momentum by rallying the rest of the organization, implementing data & analytics identified priorities at scale across AMEA to deliver strong business value across all levels of organization at right cost structure, facilitating and conceptualizing adoption plans as well as continuous improvement plans.
• The D&A organization has a set of central teams; Data Management, Analytics Products, Center of Enablement and Data Science resources, which should be maximized at the service of the AMEA business priorities - this requires strong collaboration and influencing skills to drive adoption, relevancy and business impact with speed. This role sits in the regional D&A structure that brings together these practices to deliver value based on an opportunity that is identified in the region.
• We partner commercial functions; Consumer-Marketing, Customer-Sales, Supply Chain and Finance on the D&A agenda for each function.
• Building capability within the teams including leading, coaching, guiding and inspiring the direct and indirect internal & external teams, multifunctional teams in region & business units in order to build a robust ecosystem that can deliver and embed analytics in the identified business processes.
What you need to know about this position:
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Data Hub & Digitization Manager to join our AMEA Data & Analytics team. The Data Hub & Digitization Manager envisions, enables, and executes a Data & Analytics strategy aimed at digitizing key work processes in Mondelēz. This role will be accountable for the Data Hub (Data Lake) contents, and the Business Intelligence applications built off it. The ideal candidate will be passionate about Business Digital Transformation, solving business problems with data & analytics, have excellent communication skills, and be able to effectively engage and manage a diverse group of individuals. This role is expected to work with various parts of Data & Analytics organization, external partners, multiple functional (Finance, Sales, Supply Chain and Consumer-Marketing) teams as well as Business leaders to successfully deliver the Data Hub & Digitization agenda for the AMEA region.
What extra ingredients you will bring:

  • Lead and manage the Mondelez Data Hub and Digitization program as the lead Data & Analytics representative partnering the broader Digitization Council within Mondelēz. Bring expertise on Data, Business Process, Technology and Analytics to develop and implement strategies to increase the data and analytics quotient of the broader Mondelēz community.
  • The position is the owner of the AMEA Data Hub (Data Lake) contents, Community Site, and the Business Intelligence applications built off it. This involves governing the data ingestion plans, application development/deployment plans led by other D&A colleagues and govern its continuous improvement plans. Is expected to lead a team of Mondelēz D&A professionals and external partners with to deliver the program and drive adoption of the applications and data assets.
  • To drive adoption of the Data Hub and its application, this role is expected to partner multifunctional teams to drive Digitization Change Management via delivering technical trainings and co-develop business relevant contents. Review adoption metrics and device improvement plans based on periodic feedback workshops. Monitor and respond to community questions, and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Owns the Data Hub onboarding, and upskilling learning pathways. Partners both internal and external resources to curate and upkeep the curriculum. Develop and maintain relationships with influencers, thought leaders, and experts un the various Functions and Business Units to better understand requirements of the data and application users.
  • Provide support to Mondelēz's Functions and Business Units, with 'art-of-possible' workshops, and leverage the broader D&A community to inspire impactful use-cases and implementations.


Education / Certifications:
Bachelor's or Master's in a quantitative field e.g., Engineering, Finance/Accounting, Sciences or Computing
Job specific requirements:

  • Has 5+ years of working experience in a medium to large enterprises. Understands the workings and interests of common functions (Finance, Sales, Marketing and Supply Chain) and typical work processes.
  • Brings 3+ years of working experience in Business Digital Transformation program in a medium to large enterprises
  • Possess working knowledge of various industry common business data and KPIs (within domains of financials, sales, trade spend, consumer, media, supply chains) and experience in using the data for business problem solving.
  • Has working knowledge of Business Intelligence software (PBI and Tableau), experience in reviewing/improving UX/designs,
  • Understands the different analytics maturity (descriptive, diagnostic, predictive and prescriptive), and can funnel the right use-cases to the appropriate D&A sub-teams
  • Is comfortable to pick up the organization data management and data architecture practices and enforce it the principles to govern the data hub program.
  • Is curious, possess strong written and verbal communication skills. Has experience in developing and executing community engagement strategies.
  • Is a creative problem solver and is comfortable with unknown or unchartered territories, for example framing new concepts for business teams and brainstorming with business users about future product and services.
  • Excellent program management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. At the same time, can harness the power of teamwork & collaboration, for example working with both business domain teams as well as D&A teams and stakeholders
