We are currently searching for a Data Governance Consultant:
Responsibilities:
- Define and document data governance policies, guidelines, and standards.
- Implement quality management models, data dictionaries, catalogs, and lineage.
- Establish roles and responsibilities within the governance framework (Data Owners, Stewards, Custodians).
- Perform data maturity assessments and propose improvement plans.
- Coordinate initiatives regarding data quality, security, privacy, and protection.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations (e.g., privacy, security, and audits).
- Collaborate with IT and business teams to enable corporate data management practices.
- Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) regarding information quality and availability.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience within the Banking/Financial industry.
- Strong proficiency in SQL.
- In-depth knowledge of the DAMA (DMBOK) framework.
Desired:
- Knowledge of Python.
- Experience with Power BI.
Languages
- Advanced Oral English.
- Advanced Spanish.
