Accounting Technician – Bookkeeping (QuickBooks)

Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Technician to support our finance team with day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, data entry, and basic bank reconciliations. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow in a structured and professional environment. This position requires working primarily in English.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform data entry of financial transactions with accuracy and consistency
- Maintain bookkeeping records in QuickBooks
- Perform basic bank reconciliations
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable entries
- File and organize financial documents and records
- Communicate with internal teams primarily in English
Requirements
Must-Have:
- Diploma or training in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (an asset)
- Proficiency in QuickBooks
- Professional level English (written and spoken) — primary working language
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with accuracy
- Organized, reliable, and comfortable with repetitive data entry tasks
- Some experience in bookkeeping or accounting is a plus, but not required
Nice-to-Have:
- Functional French (an asset in our bilingual environment)
- Experience with payroll processing (Ceridian, ADP, or similar)
- Knowledge of Canadian tax regulations (GST/HST/QST)
- Experience in administration, finance, or technical documentation support

- Strong communication skills in English (French is a strong asset)
