A successful candidate will play an active role in FMU's existing Admissions and Recruitment success. This full-time position is responsible for data collection and quality assurance throughout the enrollment process, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with admissions standards in compliance with eligibility for the office of financial aid. The role also involves collecting data for monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.

Essential Functions:

  • Perform data entry, quality assurance, and database queries; accurately record and monitor required information within the integrated student information system.
  • Manage applicant files and related documentation, ensuring timely and accurate progression through the admissions process.
  • Evaluate electronic applications and supporting documents for accuracy and completeness in the AdmissionPros CRM system.
  • Create and maintain both manual and electronic records, ensuring all data is complete, accurate, and up to date.
  • Respond to inquiries and serve as a liaison with internal university partners (departments) to resolve day-to-day administrative and operational matters.
  • Prioritize tasks and organize workflow to meet deadlines, managing assignments based on urgency and date received.
  • Address routine application processing issues and coordinate the resolution or escalation of policy-related or procedural matters.
  • Communicate effectively with database vendors to identify issues and articulate support needs clearly.
  • Receiving calls, checking in visitors, providing information, and general support to all guests.
  • Attend registration and enrollment events as needed.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned to support departmental and institutional objectives.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 

  • Knowledge of best practices in enrollment management and a record of success in increasing enrollment as well as net tuition revenue. 
  • Ability to handle information of a sensitive and confidential nature in the utmost professional manner.
  • Effective analytical and decision-making skills. Excellent communication (oral and written), organizational, and time management skills. Effective interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse constituents.
  • Attention to detail and adaptability to a changing environment are extremely important, as well as dependability.
  • Demonstrate a high level of professionalism, initiative, resourcefulness, and personal accountability.
    Moderate physical activity. Requires handling objects of average weight up to fifty (50) pounds or standing and/or walking for more than four (4) hours per day.

Minimum Requirements: 

  • An associate degree directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. 
  • Database Administrator Certificate is a plus.
  • Ability to perform complex tasks and prioritize multiple projects.
  • Ability to maintain a flexible work schedule that may include working nights and weekends
  • Customer Service skills. Excellent communications and interpersonal skills. Proofreading skills required.
  • Attention to detail and adaptability to a changing environment are extremely important, as well as dependability.
  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Office Suite, LinkedIn Learning, as well as knowledge and understanding of the organizational structure, workflow, and operating procedures. Familiar with AdmissionPros as well as the Jenzabar technology suite for higher education financial systems.
  • Flexibility to work outside of normal business hours.
