THE ORGANIZATION: Mi Familia Vota (MFV), the Latinx-led organization with the largest field operation in the nation, uses a holistic approach to build political power. We are in nine strategic states: AZ, CA, CO, GA, FL, NV, NC, and TX. We engage our community around the most prevalent issues to ensure the construction of a healthy democracy and advance a national Latino-progressive agenda. MFV utilizes a variety of strategies to reach our community, including citizenship, door-to-door voter education, registration and mobilization, issue organizing, leadership development, advocacy, accountability campaigns, and litigation.
SUMMARY: Mi Familia Vota Education Fund is implementing a voter registration, education, and mobilization project in preparation for the upcoming elections. Quality Control Coordinators will be responsible for administering the data quality control process, which will include tracking & verifying voter registration and canvassing data that is provided by Canvass Leads and Canvassers. This position will report directly to a Field Manager and/or Field Director and collaborate with Data Managers.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Administrator for online databases used by organization, primarily Blocks and VAN (Voter Activation Network)

Verifies and tracks voter registrations and voter contact attempts on a daily basis. Visually inspects voter registration forms and voter data that Canvassers submit and works with them to resolve flags.

Receives completed voter registration forms, scans, and redacts them in order to further them in the quality control process.

Maintains an organized, secure filing system for paper voter registration packets.

Follows required reporting procedures, including producing daily reports on voter registration and voter contact activity to management.

Provides training and technical support to Canvassers focused on understanding quality control flags and problematic forms.

Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

Attends required training as communicated by supervisor

Adheres to state laws and regulations regarding handling and submitting voter registration cards and voter contact information.

Some past experience with voter registration, especially in the quality control process, is preferred.
