Role:

To provide administrative support to both dayshift and afternoon shift supervisors in the planning and coordinating of the production process activities. Ensure open communication, checking emails, reviewing all possible additions or cancellations and enquire about product availability. Ensure weekly reports are updated and communicated with Senior Management, while adhering to quality, safety and legislative guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Data entry, enter, print, update all orders to tally sheet daily.
  • Monitor emails regularly, communicate with Supervisor, reply in timely fashion.
  • Monitor product inventory, enter on tally sheet and email to Primary plant.
  • Make weekly projections the week prior on based on add volume and update them upon actual order arrivals.
  • Review the CFS related reports to see if there is any add on or cancellations.
  • Prepare, update and submit required weekly reports to the senior management.

  • Monitor and maintain turkey procedure, production, orders, projections, cancellations, additions, reports, schedules, ensure timely communication with supplier and managers.
  • Monitor and maintain intercompany transfers, schedules, labour, and emails.
  • Print product labels for production.
  • Print fresh bag orders in month advance and update them on daily basis and make adjustments on the bagging schedule sheet.
  • Print daily production reports for production.
  • Prepare down time sheet and plant manager on daily basis.
  • Keep records of knife receiving and disposal.
  • Prepare month end reports after receiving data from production.
  • Send daily production sheets to QC.
  • Prepare organic production sheet.
  • Keep record of all POs in place
  • Assist with Supervisory duties as required (vacation/sick coverage)
  • Other duties as required.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a food processing plant preferred.
  • Previous leadership experience beneficial
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office computer programs (Excel and Word)
  • Flexibility to work different shifts as required
  • Possess strong critical thinking and problem solving skills.
  • High level of integrity and work ethic.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as being a strong team player.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to assess and prioritize.
  • Ability to accurately maintain detailed records.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with customers, employees and Supervisors.
  • Must be dependable and reliable.
  • Must be flexible with schedule and able to accommodate changing business needs, including occasional adjustment to scheduled hours.
  • Ability to work and under pressure and meet deadlines.

Please note that the expected new hire salary range provided is derived from a group of like roles within Sunrise Farms. The final offer amount for this role will be dependent on geographical region, applicable experience, and skillset of the candidate.
