• Develop governed data products using Delta Lake, SQL, Python, PySpark, and enterprise data engineering standards.
• Work with business and technical teams to understand source data, transformation logic, data contracts, and consumption requirements.
• Implement data quality checks, reconciliation, monitoring, metadata, lineage, and access requirements as part of production data products.
• Apply CI/CD, source control, automated testing, and deployment practices to data engineering workloads.
• Develop reusable components and follow platform golden paths and engineering standards.
• Troubleshoot data pipeline, performance, quality, and integration issues through production resolution.
• Partner with Platform Engineering on environments, platform services, deployment patterns, and technical issues.
• Work with Analytics teams to provide trusted data products for Power BI and other approved consumption patterns.
• Support onboarding and knowledge sharing with domain data teams and contribute improvements back to common engineering patterns.
What You Need to Be Successful
• 5+ years of experience in data engineering, software engineering, data platforms, or related technical roles.
• Strong experience developing production data pipelines using Python, SQL, Spark/PySpark, or similar technologies.

• Experience with Git-based development, CI/CD, automated testing, and production deployment practices.
• Working knowledge of data governance, access control, metadata, lineage, and data quality concepts.
• Ability to independently solve moderately complex technical problems and deliver assigned components of larger data products.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with engineers, architects, analysts, and business stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
Bonus Points if You Have
• Databricks certification or significant production Databricks experience.
