We're seeking an experienced Data Engineering Manager to join the force for good!

We are looking for someone to help us achieve this vision by leading our Data Engineering team and reaching new heights together. As the Data Engineering Team Lead, you will guide our analytics platform to optimally support our analytics and business objectives. We need someone passionate about data, people, and leadership, ready to elevate us to the next level.
You’ll help us protect honest people online by:
- Driving initiatives and leading the architecture discussions and decisions for Veriff's analytics platform - data warehouse, data lake, and business intelligence services
- Enhancing the data engineering domain by driving best practices and innovations, if needed working hands-on alongside the team
- Providing your team with the resources, processes, and roadmaps to succeed
- Developing and maintaining frameworks that strengthen our analytics capabilities
- Setting performance metrics to optimize both speed and quality of delivery
- Proposing and implementing scalable solutions to complex business challenges
You are the right future Veriffian for the job if you have/are:
- Experience leading a team
- 5+ years as a Data Engineer or Software Engineer
- A track record of building scalable analytics platforms
- Strong SQL and Python skills and familiarity with modern analytics tools
- Experience with data lakes and warehouses
- Excellent communication skills—able to present findings clearly and concisely
- Fluent in English (spoken & written)
You’re an especially awesome match if you have/are:
- Experience with big data processing frameworks (Apache Spark, Beam, or Flink)
- Hands-on expertise with data visualization tools (Tableau, Looker, etc.)
- Experience working for a global scale-up/startup
