We are looking for a Data Engineer Intern to support our analytics and data platform initiatives. In this role, you will help build and maintain data pipelines, improve data quality, and work closely with engineers and analysts to enable reliable, scalable data solutions.
Essential Functions:
Project Responsibility: Simple Data Transformations and Reports
Technical Competencies:
- Basic SQL and Python programming
- Understanding of data concepts and terminology
- Simple ETL processes and data validation
- Data quality basics and documentation
- Introduction to Azure Data Lake and Databricks
- Basic data visualization with Apache Superset
- Understanding of financial data and transaction processing
Soft Skills:
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Curiosity about data patterns and insights
- Ability to follow detailed procedures
- Basic analytical thinking
- Willingness to learn complex technical concepts
- Documentation and organization skills
Qualifications:
- Current Student or Recent Graduate (preferably Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Statistics, or related field.)
- 0 – 1 years of experience (preferably in Data or BI)
