Position Purpose: This internship will support Business Technology Solutions – Medicare Compliance team. This team supports organization-wide CMS (Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services) data needs either through ingesting CMS files into our EDW (Enterprise Data Warehouse) or generating various reports leveraging CMS data for our business partners and assisting with compliance monitoring and oversight.
Location Requirement: This is a remote internship. Candidates will be considered nationally within the U.S.
As an intern, you will learn about various processes and functions within the Managed Care industry and develop professionally by contributing to projects that support the business.
- Learn various job functions within the Managed Care industry and explore various career opportunities.
- Apply academic knowledge and learn new skills by contributing to various projects.
- Research various legal, regulatory, and other topics within functional area and industry.
- Attend training and development presentations to enhance professional competencies.
In this role you can expect to:
- Help with SQL and Python scripting.
- Work on automating operations work and integrating reusable frameworks.
Skills:
- SQL and Python experience required.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Must be enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited university or college in a field related to the hiring department, such as Computer Science or Data Science, through the internship period.
Pay range: $19-25/hr
