We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer with strong BI development experience to design, build, and maintain analytics-ready data pipelines and datasets that power enterprise reporting, dashboards, and AI use cases. This role is data engineering-led, with direct ownership of how data is modeled, transformed, and curated for business intelligence and AI consumption.
The ideal candidate understands that great BI and AI outcomes start with strong data foundations and has experience enabling analytics platforms-particularly Salesforce CRM Analytics and Einstein-through well-designed, governed data layers.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Technology Stack: Snowflake, Salesforce, Salesforce Data Cloud, CRM Analytics (CRMA), Einstein
- Data Engineering & Analytics Enablement
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines feeding analytics and AI use cases
- Develop and manage analytics-ready datasets in Snowflake and/or Salesforce Data Cloud
- Apply strong data modeling practices to support BI, dashboards, and predictive analytics
- Ensure data quality, reliability, and performance across analytics workloads
- Medallion Architecture & Data Maturity (Core Requirement)
- Design and operate within a medallion architecture (Bronze / Silver / Gold)
- Build and curate Gold-layer datasets optimized for BI and AI consumption
- Partner with BI developers and stakeholders to ensure:
- Business logic is implemented upstream
- Dashboards remain performant, consistent, and reusable
- Assess data readiness and maturity before advancing analytics or AI use cases
- BI & Analytics Platform Support
- Enable CRM Analytics (CRMA) dashboards by delivering trusted, well-structured datasets
- Partner with BI developers and analysts to:
- Translate reporting requirements into data models
- Optimize datasets for performance and reuse
- Support metric standardization and semantic consistency across reporting solutions
- AI & Einstein Enablement
- Prepare and curate datasets used by Salesforce Einstein (e.g., predictions, discovery models)
- Support feature engineering and data readiness for AI use cases
- Collaborate with analytics and governance teams to ensure AI inputs are explainable and reliable

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 6+ years of experience in Data Engineering or Analytics Engineering
- Solid experience with Snowflake or similar cloud data platforms
Advanced SQL skills (complex transformations, performance optimization) - Experience building analytics-ready data models for BI tools
- Experience supporting BI and analytics platforms (CRMA, Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
- Experience with Salesforce Data Cloud and data integration patterns
- Experience supporting Einstein or AI-driven analytics use cases
- Python experience for data pipelines, automation, or advanced transformations
- Healthcare or regulated data environment experience
- Solid understanding of medallion data architecture and data maturity concepts
- Proven exposure to Salesforce CRM Analytics (CRMA) datasets or enablement
