This role is Hybrid, which requires being in our San Francisco office 3 days a week- Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.About You
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
  • Completed coursework in ML/AI concepts and are eager to apply what you’ve learned to help build, evaluate, and improve AI-driven products.
  • Working knowledge of SQL, including writing queries that join multiple tables and perform aggregations.
  • Experience using Python for end-to-end data analysis, applying statistical thinking, performing aggregations with tools like Pandas and NumPy, and translating results into clear visualizations and narratives.
  • Basic understanding of programming fundamentals, including functions, data structures, and introductory object-oriented concepts in Python.
  • Interest in learning how to build maintainable and reliable data workflows, with guidance from senior team members.
  • Curiosity about how data products are built end-to-end, from problem definition to delivering analysis or code.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, ask thoughtful questions, and incorporate feedback.

  • Contribute to the measurement, analysis, and evolution of AI-powered products at Doximity.
  • Collaborate with data analysts, data engineers, and developers to help design, implement, and evaluate LLM-based approaches that inform future product iterations.
  • Work with real production datasets to support data analysis, pipelines, and dashboards used across the business.
  • Learn and apply best practices for writing clean, maintainable, and well-tested data code.
  • Gain hands-on exposure to modern data tooling, distributed data processing, and ML/AI workflows.
  • Participate in projects end-to-end — from problem definition through delivery — with mentorship and support from the team.

Timeline
