About The Role:
The role will be responsible for development and operation of Network International’s enterprise Data Lake platform. Data Engineer will be part of an analytics team and will be reporting directly to Head of Data Management and Business Intelligence.
The individual would provide a day-to-day support to Analytics team with data modeling and scripting on cloud i.e., Azure. The job holder is required to be involved in end-to- end implementation of this solution that is aimed to build single source of information across multiple systems.
ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities:
- Implement various data modelling, scripting, and reporting techniques for business performance and projections on demand through various scripts/procedures on database languages.
- Should have good knowledge in database languages and should be able to run/execute procedures and queries.
- Should have subject matter expertise in integrating, transforming, and consolidating data from various structured and unstructured data systems into structures that are suitable for building analytics solutions.
- Experience in various Azure data services and languages to store and produce cleansed and enhanced datasets for analysis.
- Must have experience in cloud services like Azure cloud services like Data factory, Synapse, Databricks, Power BI etc.
- Should be able to create the data models on azure including ETL, generating data sets and other BI required files.
- Create and manage different data structure on Azure database.
- Extract and provide data fields for analysis / insights generation for the respective stakeholder
Key Requirements:
Experience:
- Database experience SQL, Oracle, Teradata, MySQL
- Experience in the field of data engineering.
- Experience in cloud-based solutions.
- Sound knowledge on cloud specially on Azure environment.
- Knowledge on other analytical languages like R, Python, SAS would be added advantage
- Knowledge about BI tools like Qlik and Tableau would be added advantage
- Must have good analytical skills
