The Data Engineer is responsible for the end-to-end planning and delivery of large-scale, cloud-based customer solutions, focusing on requirement refinement, functional specification development, production deployment leadership, and ongoing application support.
What You’ll Do
Strategic Deployment & Framework Development:
Orchestrate DaaS and Digital Marketplace deployments for Equifax products, specifically focusing on Google Marketplace.
Design and refine repeatable frameworks that enable daily, weekly, and monthly product deliveries across Snowflake, AWS, and Google Cloud.
Architect cloud computing solutions tailored to solve specific customer challenges and data requirements.
Drive process automation by developing QC steps and automation scripts to streamline data transfers.
Technical Execution & Fulfillment:
Manage automated monthly data uploads and refreshes for the Google Marketplace platform.
Configure and install new product environments across multi-cloud platforms including Google, AWS, and Snowflake.
Perform essential cloud administration, such as provisioning buckets, views, and customer shares on Google Cloud.
Act as the primary point of contact for troubleshooting initial configurations and data publishing issues.
Collaboration & Methodology:
Navigate a Rapid Development Environment using Agile methodologies to deliver results in high-pressure scenarios.
Coordinate effectively within a collaborative team of software professionals and maintain clear communication with Project Leads and Management.
What experience you need
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences or an equivalent degree and/or experience.
5+ years of experience gathering customer business requirements, creating Solution Designs, and documenting customer solutions.
Proficiency in Python and SQL.
3+ years of experience leveraging ticketing tools like SNOW or JIRA.
Passion for technology and the business opportunities it presents, with the ability to comprehend both technical and business topics to recommend options and solutions.
Consistent with Equifax’s 3/2+2 flexible work framework, a willingness to work Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday in Equifax’s Atlanta-based office
