About the Role
In this opportunity you will:
- Build and evolve the BI Platform including being able to assess the as-is architecture with the to-be state
- Participate in all aspects of the development lifecycle: Ideation, Design, Build, Test and Operate
- Utilize a variety of software and tools both commercial and open source
- Enable self-service tooling for analytics teams to create and maintain BI reports
- Ensure consistency with cloud architectural guiding principles
- Continuously challenge and evolve the existing platform capabilities and keep up to date with new offerings
About You
You’re a fit for the role of Lead BI Platform Engineer if you meet all or most of these criteria:
- 3+ years in Software Engineering
- Data Engineer - AWS, DBT, Python, spark, snowflake, SQL, CICD, data modelling, AI
- Hands-on experience working with public cloud technology (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Experience with service-oriented and/or microservices architecture
- Proficiency in modern programming languages like Node.js, C#, Python, Java
- Experience with relational and/or non-relational databases like PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, MySQL, BQ etc
- Experience with Agile development and delivery – Scrum, Lean, XP, Kanban methodologies.
- Hands on DevOps experience – CI/CD in AWS, Git, Monitoring, Log Analytics
