We are driven by our values of being trusted, sustainably minded, innovative, generous, and curious. As a team we take a collaborative approach and have a working environment where all ideas are heard, evaluated, and tested against our leading goal - to be the world's most human-centered appliance brand. We are now entering a bold new chapter in our journey.

Across Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland, we are creating a world-class three-site campus: our Global HQ in Penrose, Distribution Centre in East Tāmaki, and landmark Global Experience Centre in Grey Lynn. These hubs connect our people and our purpose, forming a centre of excellence for design, innovation and storytelling in Aotearoa.

As a Data Engineer, you will be a key member of the Enterprise Data & Analytics team, responsible for designing, building, and maintaining high‑quality data pipelines and platforms across the organisation.

Your primary purpose is to enable reliable, timely, and trusted analytical insights that empower the business to make informed decisions on strategy, investment, and operational action. You will work closely with business and technical stakeholders to ensure data is accessible, well‑governed, and optimised to unlock maximum value from our data assets.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop, optimise, and quality‑assure complex SQL queries and data transformations to support reporting and advanced analytics needs

  • Define, document, and advocate data modelling, data quality, and data management standards to maintain data integrity and stakeholder trust

  • Design, develop, and deploy reporting and analytics solutions that deliver actionable insights across key business performance metrics

  • Collaborate with cross‑functional business and IT stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions and meaningful information outputs

  • Continuously identify and implement improvements to data processes, automation, and platform scalability to enhance performance and efficiency

That’s the role, so who you are

  • 5–10 years’ experience sourcing, building, analysing, and presenting organisational data to support critical business decisions

  • Strong expertise in SQL, including writing efficient, reusable queries and reviewing and optimising others’ work

  • Proven experience working with BI and analytics platforms, with strong hands‑on capability in Power BI

  • Solid experience across the Microsoft data stack, including SQL Server, SSIS, SSAS, and Power BI

  • Demonstrated experience in data modelling, data integration, Change Data Capture (CDC), and working with data from multiple source systems (e.g. CRMs such as Salesforce)

  • Strong analytical mindset with experience applying statistical techniques to generate insights and clear, business‑focused recommendations
