Tasks and Qualifications:What you’ll do:
Design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports using best‑practice data modelling.
Prepare, transform, and integrate data from diverse sources including Databricks SQL warehouses, SQL Server, Snowflake, SharePoint lists, JSON files, and Excel.
Collaborate with stakeholders across EMEA to gather requirements, validate data, and deliver insights that support operational, financial, and strategic decisions.
Ensure consistency, performance, and compliance with data governance standards.
Perform data validation, quality checks, and troubleshooting for new and existing reporting solutions.
Identify opportunities for automation, standardisation, and continuous improvement.
Contribute to the broader analytics ecosystem by sharing best practices, documenting solutions, and supporting user adoption.
What you’ll bring:
Strong experience in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, M language, and performance optimisation.
3+ years experience in an established business
Solid understanding of data preparation, wrangling, and modelling (star schema, snowflake schema).
Proficiency in SQL for querying and data manipulation; experience with Databricks or Snowflake is a plus.
Ability to work with semi‑structured data (JSON, XML) and convert it into structured formats.
Solid understanding of data transformation, ETL (Extract Transform Load) concepts, and data architecture principles.
Experience handling Excel‑based datasets and integrating them into enterprise reporting environments.
Solid programming skills (e.g., Python or SQL) to support data preparation and automation.
Strong analytical thinking, with the ability to identify trends, anomalies, and improvement opportunities.
A talent for creating clear, user‑friendly visualisations aligned with business needs.
Proven ability to translate business requirements into scalable analytical solutions.
Experience in a complex, global, or technology‑driven environment (intralogistics, automation, or supply chain experience is a plus)
