Position Overview
We are seeking a Data Engineer to join our Fusion Generative Design and Simulation team in Kraków. Our team is responsible for delivering cutting-edge engineering simulation technologies within Autodesk’s Fusion platform.
We’re looking for technically skilled professionals who are passionate about data analysis and eager to embed data-driven thinking into everyday product engineering practices. As a Data Engineer, you will play a key role in shaping how we design, build, and deliver products to millions of professionals worldwide. You’ll work closely with engineering teams to place data at the heart of decision-making, helping to develop and enhance simulation solutions across desktop, web clients, and supporting cloud services.
This position follows a hybrid work model based out of our Kraków office.
Responsibilities
Design and implement key performance metrics in collaboration with Engineering teams to measure and optimize system performance
Build and maintain reports and dashboards using modern visualization tools to democratize access to data insights
Perform in-depth analyses to uncover trends, explain outcomes, and identify opportunities for improvement
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders—including data scientists, analysts, and product managers—to understand requirements and advocate for data-driven best practices
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or related field
2+ years of experience in data analytics and visualization, including dashboard development, data storytelling, and presenting actionable insights
Strong proficiency in SQL for writing and debugging queries
Hands-on experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Looker
Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken) to collaborate effectively in a global environment
Preferred Qualifications
Working knowledge of programming and scripting languages (e.g., Python preferred, Java, JavaScript, Bash)
Familiarity with product analytics concepts and tools
