Softeta is looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join their growing team. As a Data Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on a cutting-edge data project and contribute to the development of innovative data solutions for a customer within the Oil and Gas industry.
In this role, you will have to work with big data, data migration, and ELT creation.
Responsibilities:
- Designing and developing data processing systems, including ETL processes and databases;
- Collaborating with data scientists, software engineers, and business stakeholders;
- Ensuring data quality and integrity through testing, validation, and documentation;
- Implementing data security measures and adhering to relevant policies and regulations;
- Monitoring system performance and conducting optimizations.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience as a Data Engineer;
- Experience with designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data processing systems, including ETL processes and data pipelines;
- Strong Python and SQL skills for data processing, pipelines, and automation;
- Experience with Apache Spark / PySpark for large-scale data processing;
- Experience with Databricks is a big advantage.
