At Ayvens Digital & IT we have an opening for a Data Engineer.

We are looking for a professional with solid knowledge of Azure technologies, particularly Azure Data Factory and Databricks, focused on developing and designing data integration scripts and pipelines for the Ayvens Data Platform. This is a hands-on role that requires close collaboration with the team to ensure the efficient execution of data integration processes.

Key responsibilities

• Work within the Data Delivery team with an emphasis on delivering gold-standard data for use by business areas.

• Execute tasks related to pipeline creation, data processing, ETL, provisioning, and maintenance of the Azure Databricks environment.

• Collaborate with the Data Platform and Integration teams to identify the best solutions that respect technical principles, budget constraints, and deliver business value.

• Act as the liaison with technical and business teams distributed geographically, including subsidiaries around the world.

• Document processes and share Azure best practices with the team.

Who are we looking for?

We seek someone with interpersonal skills to build and manage relationships across multiple departments and locations. We value collaboration, agility, project management, and decision-making aligned with Ayvens’ agile culture.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s (BSc) or Master’s (MSc) degree in Engineering, IT, or related fields.

• Strong knowledge of SQL and Python for ETL / ELT and business analysis.

• Proven experience with Azure Data Factory and Databricks.

• Experience with CI/CD tools and processes will be considered a plus.

• Curiosity and continuous interest in new technologies and market trends.

• Desirable experience with DataOps, Docker, and Kubernetes.

• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.

• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
