At Basic-Fit, your data solutions support millions of members across Europe. What you design today will be used tomorrow by teams in operations, marketing, finance, and beyond.
What your work looks like
You’ll join the central Data Platform Team, working on the foundation of Basic-Fit’s data landscape.
In a typical week, you might:
build batch and streaming pipelines in Databricks
continuously improving Databricks, keeping up with the latest technologies
collaborate with analysts to improve self-service reporting
migrate legacy pipelines to a modern Databricks platform
optimize performance, cost, governance, and reliability
support designing data models that are directly consumed in
Power BI
Your main environment is Databricks, with Azure Data Factory as the orchestration layer and Unity Catalog for governance and security.
Where you can make an impact
This is not a “keep-the-lights-on” role. You’ll actively shape:
scalable data patterns (such as Slowly Changing Dimensions)
AI and automation to improve data quality and usability
how self-service analytics actually works across the business
the future direction of our data platform
Good ideas don’t stay in slide decks here — they get built.

BI Developers
Data Scientists
Together, you support almost every department at Basic-Fit, enabling teams to act on reliable, well-governed data.
What helps you succeed in this role
You don’t need to tick every box. You will thrive here if most of this sounds familiar:
Hands-on experience with Databricks (around 1+ year)
Understanding of batch vs. streaming data processing
Strong skills in SQL, PySpark, and Python
Experience building data pipelines (e.g. with Azure Data Factory)
Awareness of data quality, governance, and scalability
Comfortable communicating in English
Experience with Power BI, CI/CD, or AI use cases is a plus — not a requirement.
