We are expanding our data team and looking for an experienced Data Engineer to help architect and build data workflows and infrastructure. You’ll work closely with senior engineers and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure data flows reliably and is modeled for use across the organization.
This is a hands-on role with the opportunity to grow your skills in modern data engineering, cloud infrastructure, and data product development.
- Architecture Design: Design and implement information architecture to support stakeholder needs ( Finance, RevOps AI, and BI data needs).
- Data Pipelines & ETL: Build and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest, transform, and load raw data across our systems.
- Data Quality & Validation: Implement checks and alerts to ensure data consistency, completeness, and accuracy across systems.
- Documentation & Best Practices: Participate in defining and maintaining internal standards, pipeline documentation, and data lineage tracking.
- Performance Optimization: Identify opportunities to improve pipeline efficiency and reduce latency in data delivery.
- Engineering Excellence: Apply strong software engineering practices: testing, code reviews, design docs, and CI/CD workflows.
- 6+ years as a Data Engineer at a SaaS or data-driven tech company
- Proven experience designing and building data architectures and pipelines
- Strong proficiency with ETL/ELT tools (Airflow, Prefect, Dagster, etc.)
- Excellent SQL skills, including optimization and strong understanding of data modeling (dimensional models, star/snowflake schemas, normalization strategies)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Strong coding skills in Python; software engineering background (e.g., APIs) is a plus
- Hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (Postgres, MongoDB, etc.)
- Nice to Have: Experience with streaming technologies (Kafka, Flink, or similar)
