Job Description: Data Engineer
Bloom Energy, a solid oxide fuel cell company, is currently looking for a Data Engineer to join the IT Business Applications team in India. The candidate should be a dynamic professional who is looking to exponentially learn and acquire knowledge in a very short time. They will have the potential for a rewarding future and be a part of a company which is a leading player in the Energy space.
Location: Bangalore, Rajajinagar
Requirement type: Candidates having Master degree (Fresher) or Bachelors with 1-2 years of experience.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines.
- Support the team in data integration and transformation tasks.
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to ensure data quality and consistency.
- Participate in the implementation of data storage solutions.
- Perform other duties related to data analytics stream as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Master degree (Fresher) or Bachelors with 1-2 years of experience in Data Engineering
- Minimum bachelor’s degree (BE / B-Tech) in Computer science, Information Technology from reputed colleges. Basic understanding of SQL and database management
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Python
- Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Knowledge of AWS services like S3, Lambda, DMS etc
- Knowledge of databases like Redshift, Snowflake etc
- Coding experience in Python
Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Eagerness to learn new technologies/domains and take on new challenges
- Passionate and self driven to excel in a dynamic environment
- Have good communication and inter personal skills
