About the Role
Ogury is looking for a curious and motivated Data Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you'll work closely with data scientists and software engineers to build and maintain scalable data systems that power our persona modeling and delivery optimization platforms. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a cross-functional environment, enjoys problem-solving, and is eager to learn about data science and complex algorithmic systems.
What you will be doing
- Collaborate with data scientists to implement and industrialize ML algorithms into production-ready systems
- Maintain and evolve data pipelines, infrastructure, and decision-making systems
- Contribute to both our persona modeling systems and ad delivery optimization, with a current focus on persona side
- Enhance the reliability of our systems through improved monitoring and alerting (SLI/SLO)
- Support business users by troubleshooting and improving delivery decision workflows
- Work across teams—including Product, DevOps, and Core Services—to connect and streamline services
What you will bring to Ogury
- 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or Software Engineer
- Strong programming skills in Scala or Python, and experience with Spark
- Familiarity with ML frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch
- Professional experience with SQL and AWS services (SageMaker, Redshift, DynamoDB)
- Knowledge of one or more backend languages (e.g., Go, C#, or C++)
- Comfortable working with CI tools (e.g., Jenkins), Terraform, Docker or Kubernetes (nice to have)
- Appetite to learn about machine learning, algorithmic systems, and new domains
- Strong communication skills; fluency in English and French.
