Job Title : Data Engineer
The Purpose of This Role
The Health Care Technology Group (HCG) is looking for Data Engineers who are hardworking, inquisitive, and responsible individuals to help building and maintaining data platform. The ideal candidate is deeply entrenched in data engineering, with a passion for using tools and frameworks to guide the development of stable and robust infrastructure and data pipeline that best serve our customer base.
At Fidelity, we use data and analytics to personalize incredible customer experiences and develop solutions that help our customers live the lives they want. As part of our digital transformation, we have significant investments to Health Care data capabilities and platforms. One of them is to build a data lake for health-related data from a variety of sources. We are looking for a hands-on data engineer who can help us design and develop our next generation, cloud enabled data capabilities.

The Skills that are Key to this role
Technical
-
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering with 3+ years of proven experience
-
Experience in building solutions for data warehouse working with large data sets

Strong database knowledge and experience with data analysis for operational, transactional systems.

Experience in building solutions using Python and experience in working with large data sets
-
Experience in ETL and data warehouse concepts
-
Strong software engineering skills, preferably PL/SQL, Python, shell scripting, SQL, and Linux.

Experience with Cloud data storage and access using Snowflake / S3

Knowledge in native AWS services such as EMR, EC2 and Cloud formation will be a plus

You should have experience in working with DevOps tools

Experience in Agile methodologies
