We are looking for Data Engineer to join our team!
Responsibilities:
- Design and construct highly scalable data pipelines to collect, integrate, and prepare large, complex datasets for training ASR, TTS, NLP and LLM models. Ensure data quality and accessibility.
- Build and maintain the necessary infrastructure to support data extraction, transformation, and loading processes (ETL) across multiple sources and environments.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data processes and systems for maximum efficiency and minimal latency. Ensure that data flows smoothly to AI models without bottlenecks.
- Work closely with Data Science, Data Analysis and ML Engineers to understand their data requirements for ongoing projects. Provide expert advice on data handling and extraction to support model accuracy and performance.
- Implement automation tools to enhance the processes of data verification, cleanup, and preprocessing. Develop automated reporting and alerting systems to keep stakeholders informed about data integrity and pipeline health.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies in data engineering and AI. Evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies to improve pipeline capabilities and system performance.
- Ensure that all data handling practices comply with regulatory requirements and company data governance policies. Implement security measures to protect data integrity and privacy.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience (3+ years) as a Data Engineer, ideally within a tech-focused, innovation-driven environment.
- Strong experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, data pipeline and workflow management tools.
- Proficient in Python.
- Experience with big data tools (Spark, Hadoop, Kafka) and data orchestration tools (Airflow, NiFi).
- Familiarity with machine learning concepts and workflows is highly beneficial.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and explain complex technical details in an accessible manner.
