We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our team and play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining robust data pipelines and architectures. Responsibilities:
- Analyze datasets from platform and business systems, design and implement frameworks for seamless data integration, and determine data lake requirements
- Acquire, clean, and transform datasets to align with business needs, ensuring data quality and consistency while building, testing, and maintaining scalable and efficient data pipeline architectures
- Develop tools and systems for data analysis, enabling stakeholders to identify patterns, trends, and insights from historical data
- Collaborate closely with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet business objectives
- Continuously monitor and optimize data pipelines for performance, reliability, and scalability
- Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of data processes, pipelines, and architectures.
- 4+ years of experience in data engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Clojure, SQL, and SparkSQL.
- Strong understanding of database systems and database design principles.
- Hands-on experience with big data processing frameworks such as Kafka, EKS, and Delta Live Tables.
- Experience working with AWS Cloud computing platforms and related services (e.g., S3, Redshift, Glue, EMR).
- Familiarity with data lake architectures and best practices for data integration and management.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- US Citizenship is required for this position.
