About the Role
Our team is looking for a Data Engineer to join our data & analytics team as individual contributors and help build & scale Rho's commercial banking technology.
The Data & Analytics team builds data products and solutions for either internal stakeholders or customers directly, maintaining a strong data driven culture across the company. This includes building our data infrastructure and ingestion framework while ensuring high data integrity.
Technologies we use for data: Python, Snowflake, DBT, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes, Terraform, Prometheus, Google Cloud Services, Looker
Responsibilities :
- Establish and maintain data connections with external data providers as well as between internal databases and the data warehouse
- Design, maintain and build data models, pipelines and infrastructure to scale with our growth.
- Conduct QA and monitoring across the data pipeline
- Work with the stakeholders to correct issues with current production data models and introduce revisions to improve models
- Work closely with business intelligence and analysts to help support business problems they’re solving
- Help with the establishment of a full-fledged data lake
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in a similar role
- Advanced Python and SQL
- Experience building and maintaining data models
- Experience building and maintaining data pipelines
- Experience integrating external APIs and services
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
