Job Description

Highly experienced Senior Data Engineer with a deep knowledge of the Azure Suite, Data Migration, Data Warehousing, ETL, and Salesforce integration. The ideal candidate has over 10 years of experience managing large-scale data engineering projects and managing teams, with a strong focus on data transformation, cloud architecture (Azure), and event-driven services using Azure Functions and Event Buses.

Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate end-to-end data engineering projects, focusing on migration from legacy systems to cloud-based environments (Azure).
- Create scalable ETL pipelines, ensuring efficient data flow and transformation processes.
- Develop and maintain data warehouses and ODS solutions, optimizing performance for reporting and analytics.
- Manage data integrations with Salesforce, leveraging event-driven architectures and cloud-based services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and serve as the main point of contact for clients, particularly based in the US.
- Provide leadership to a small team of engineers, enabling junior members and ensuring adherence to Agile methodologies.

Qualifications

- 8+ years of experience in data engineering, with expertise in Azure, ETL, and cloud data platforms.
- Experience in Salesforce integration and Azure Functions.
- Proven leadership experience, managing engineering teams.
- Fluent in English to communicate effectively with US-based clients.
- Strong knowledge of data warehousing, event-driven services, and cloud architecture.
