Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Azure Data Engineer with 4 - 6 years in data engineering to join our team. In this role, you will design, build, and optimize high-performance data pipelines on Azure, delivering scalable, efficient, and reliable data solutions along with reporting dashboards in power BI/Tableau. You will take ownership of developing and maintaining critical data workflows, ensuring they meet performance and quality standards. This position requires a strong focus on data pipelines (Ingestion and transformations), performance tuning, code optimization, deployment automation, advanced debugging and creating end user dashboards using Power BI models as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively to solve complex data challenges and drive continuous improvements across our data engineering practices.
What you must have :
- 4+ years of data engineering experience, building and managing large-scale data pipelines
- Strong proficiency in Python, PySpark, Spark, Databricks, Delta Lake, PowerBI and SQL, with hands-on experience using
- Azure Data Factory, Azure Pipelines, Azure DevOps, and Git for version control.
- Proven experience working with Azure Databricks and PySpark/Spark for data engineering tasks and Power BI as data analytics work
- In-depth knowledge of performance optimization techniques for large-scale data processing, including code tuning and resource management
- Hands-on experience implementing CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar tools
- Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills
- Good reporting skills using Power BI and relevant reporting tools
- Collaborate with data engineers, architects, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively

- Familiarity with monitoring, alerting, and operational runbooks to support production-grade data pipelines
