Leidos is seeking an experienced, results-oriented Data Engineer or Systems Engineer to join our team in the Bethesda, Maryland area. You will play a critical role in shaping our client's IT enterprise architecture by establishing and maintaining a data analytic environment. Your responsibilities will span multiple areas, including strategic planning, data analysis, and data compliance to enhance our customers’ analytic practice.
Responsibilities include:
- Enterprise Architecture: Contribute to the design and evolution of our client’s enterprise cloud and data architecture, ensuring interoperability, security, and alignment with business goals. Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Strategic Thinking: Develop data strategies that consider long-term implications, anticipating future needs and trends. Decompose complex problems and develop an analytic approach.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to drive data integration initiatives and foster a data-driven culture.
- Compliance: Analyze current practices to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Data-Driven Analysis: Establish and administer a data analytic environment. Analyze the current data structure, tagging, and quality standards to discover and address anomalies.
Basic Requirements:
- Active TS/SCI security clearance with CI polygraph
- BS degree and 8 – 12 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6 – 10 years of prior relevant experience. May possess a Doctorate in technical domain.
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer or Systems Engineer, with a focus on complex data environments.
- Experience with data science tools and languages, such as Python, R, or Scala, in various data science environments.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, MS PowerBI) to deliver data analysis solutions and visualizations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in or have a strong understanding of project management.
- Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science).
- Five or more years of experience working with or in the Intelligence Community (IC).
- Cloud-based data science experience.
- Experience producing executive-level products.

Pay Range:Pay Range $104,650.00 - $189,175.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
