We are looking for a highly skilled Data Engineer with extensive experience in Snowflake and Python to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database design and development, leveraging tools and technologies to drive data solutions on the cloud. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and architectures, particularly using Snowflake and AWS services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop scalable data solutions using Snowflake and cloud-based data warehouses.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data requirements.
  • Build and optimize ETL/ELT processes to facilitate data integration and transformation.
  • Develop and maintain databases using PostgreSQL, Aurora, and MSSQL.
  • Write efficient and scalable Python and JavaScript code for Snowflake functions and stored procedures.
  • Work with AWS services, including Amazon S3, AWS Glue, and Lambda, for efficient data storage and processing.
  • Ensure the security, performance, and reliability of data systems.

Required Skills:

  • Programming Languages: Python (Mandatory), C#, Java (Plus)
  • Database Systems:
    • Snowflake: 4-6 years (Design, Develop)
    • PostgreSQL: Required
    • Aurora, MSSQL: Plus
  • AWS Services:
    • Amazon S3: Required
    • AWS Glue, Lambda: Plus
  • JavaScript: Required for writing Snowflake functions and stored procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 6-8 years of database experience with at least 4-6 years of hands-on experience in Snowflake.
  • Proven experience in designing and developing scalable data pipelines.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Experience working in a hybrid environment.
