Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer with expertise in Teradata to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in building Datalab and Datamart solutions using Teradata technology. Your responsibilities will include the development of data collection solutions, storage, processing, and provisioning for analytical and management tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Solutions Development: Contribute to the construction of Datalab and Datamart solutions using Teradata.
- Data Collection and Processing: Develop data collection solutions, manage data storage, process aggregates or scores, and ensure data availability.
- Modeling and Development: Utilize Teradata BTEQ for data modeling and development, including creating views for analytical and management tools (e.g., MSBI, Qlik Sense).
- Project and RUN Activities: Work on both project-related tasks and ongoing operations, including production processing, incident resolution, optimizations, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Required Skills
- Teradata Expertise: Strong experience with Teradata technology, including BTEQ and TPT.
- SQL & Relational DBMS: Proficiency in SQL and relational database management systems, particularly Teradata.
- UNIX Environment: Experience with UNIX environments, including directory usage and warehouse management.
- ETL & Data Warehousing: Experience with warehouse loading modes (ETL) using BTEQ.
- Control-M: Proficient in using CONTROL-M for job scheduling and management.
- DevOps & Documentation: Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools like GIT, Jira, Confluence, MEGA, and Zeenea.
Qualifications
- Language: Fluency or Professional working in French is required.
- Experience: Proven experience in data engineering with a strong focus on Teradata technology.
- Team Collaboration: Strong collaborative skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Must be in Portugal, Lisbon
