BlueCloud Services, Inc. has an opening for the position of Data Engineer(Ref# DE318VN).
Work Location: Tampa, FL and relocation required to various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.
Job Duties:
- Transform complex business requirements into technical data and ETL solutions, implementing Azure and Snowflake solutions.
- Build tools according to specifications enabling business data owners to easily publish their data. Streamline the process, enhancing data quality and integrity.
- Build flexible Azure Data Factory (ADF) pipelines to handle a wide variety of data availability requirements from transaction systems and 3rd party data offerings.
-Build ADF pipelines to orchestrate the data ingestion process.
- Build Azure functions to execute the Python scripts for business data transformations.
- Collaborate with business users and stakeholders to understand their requirements and implement solutions.
- Execute Azure DevOps stories to build and deploy data solutions.
- Enhance ETL processes and data pipeline efficiency.
- Design and develop ADF pipelines to copy and transform the data from various sources.
- Integrate Azure Databricks in ADF pipelines with Python and Scala programming languages.
- Design and build Snowflake data warehouse.
- Build the pipelines to incorporate the transformation logic as per the business requirements.
- Utilize Azure tools to monitor processes and performance of systems and alert about any issues to ensure availability and reliability.
- Author tests to validate data quality and platform stability.
- Provide technical support in all phases of testing. Investigate and resolve data and processing technical issues. Utilize best practices for development and support.
- Use of Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Snowflake, Python, Scala, GitHub, Ab Initio, Talend, Teradata, Azure, UNIX, and Windows.
Requirements:
- This position requires a Master’s degree or foreign academic equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
-Plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or 2 years in a related occupation including Software Engineer or related experience.
- Position requires 1 year of experience with ETL solutions, Azure, and Snowflake. 40hrs/week.
