Do you have the craftsmanship and capabilities to implement the OHRA LakeHouse concept with our Data Warehouse team? You are joining our organization at the perfect time, as we have just developed our vision for data architecture and will realize it together with you.
As a Data Engineer, you will work with your Scrum team on the OHRA DWH and LakeHouse. We have recently migrated to Teradata VantageCloud Lake. Our intelligence team uses Dataiku to generate models based on the data in the LakeHouse and DWH. For Data Visualization, we use Tableau and Power BI. You will build and manage the DWH and LakeHouse, ensuring a reliable and robust future for our data architecture.
What you are going to do
- Build and maintain data pipelines to unlock sources to the Data Platform
- Skilled in analysis, design, build, and test, considering requirements from architecture, performance, management, compliance, and security
- Actively collaborate with both users and supplying parties
- Keep up with technological developments and find it challenging to continuously improve the data platform. You will involve your fellow engineers and architects in this
- Engage with customers about their needs and jointly come to the best solution, balancing the requirements from both IT and the Business
- Automate all boring and repetitive tasks so that there is more time for the things that really matter

Who you are
- You are a Data Engineer with extensive experience in Data Architecture, dimensional modeling, ETL, and SQL
- Your focus is on efficiently and reliably processing data, considering aspects such as data quality, performance, and architectural requirements
- You are used to working in an Agile/Scrum team and with other disciplines outside of it
- You have an open, curious attitude and are focused on continuous improvement
- Knowledge and experience with AWS (S3 Open Table Formats), Teradata, Powercenter, and PowerShell is a plus
- You have a good command of the Dutch language

Within IT Retail Schade en Zorg of NN, we work with approximately 130 people for the labels OHRA, ING, NN, and SNS. The department consists of a nice mix of people and an open informal atmosphere where there is plenty of room for your input.
