We’ve been experiencing hyper-growth the past year, becoming Indonesia's 7th Unicorn Startup and the first Investment Fintech Unicorn in South East Asia 2,5 years after Ajaib first launched. With the global financial technology market expected to grow gradually, we aim to make stock trading accessible for millennials through our mobile-first approach. In 2022, we opened our new head office in the Indonesia Stock Exchange Building, and we’re just getting started!

We're Hiring: Data Engineer Intern
We are seeking talented and driven individuals to join our Data Engineering Team as a Data Engineer Intern. This internship offers valuable exposure to modern data tools and engineering practices, with the opportunity for full-time conversion based on strong performance.
Job Description
- Assist in developing and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines
- Support data collection, cleaning, and transformation processes
- Help manage and optimize databases and data warehouses
- Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and reporting
- Assist in integrating data from multiple sources (APIs, databases, third-party tools)
- Monitor data quality and troubleshoot data-related issues
- Document data architecture, workflows, and technical processes
- Collaborate with data analysts and stakeholders to understand data requirements
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently graduated in Computer Science, Information Systems Data Science, Engineering, or related field
- Basic proficiency in SQL (mandatory)
- Familiarity with Python or another programming language
- Understanding of databases (Relational & NoSQL: PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.) and basic ETL concepts
- Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
- Good communication skills and willingness to learn
- Willing to commit to a 3-month internship
