OVERVIEW:
Job Purpose:
Design, build, and support modern data platforms that enable advanced analytics and machine learning solutions. This role focuses on creating reliable, scalable, and cost-effective data infrastructure. The engineer will contribute to building data pipelines, performing business and data analysis, and supporting technical design under guidance, while developing foundational skills in platform engineering and cloud technologies.
Responsibilities:
Data & Platform Expertise
Supports end users in the designs and build of data pipelines using platforms like Snowflake, Databricks, and BigQuery.
Supports data movement, applies best practices for performance and architecture.
Cloud Infrastructure & Automation
Designs and implements scalable cloud environments with a focus on automation using Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform), CI/CD pipelines, and scripting.
Architecture & Strategy
Understands resilient, scalable systems, cloud cost optimization, and security.
Collaborates with infrastructure and security teams and supports onboarding of cloud data solutions.
Ongoing Learning and Development
Actively develops capabilities through assessments, training, coaching, and professional accreditation.
Maintains awareness of relevant technologies, regulations, and industry best practices through continuous education, conferences, and media.
Monitoring, Operations & Support
Ensures system reliability through proactive monitoring, alerting, and dashboarding.
Manages incident response, on-call support, and performance reviews across infrastructure and code.
Development & Delivery Practices
Applies agile methodologies and strong coding standards.
Manages source control and implements CI/CD for high-quality, maintainable software delivery.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent level preferred
General Experience: Experienced practitioner able to work unsupervised (13 months to 3 years)

Targeted Pay Range: $76,500.00 - $124,600.00. This is part of a competitive total rewards package that could include other components such as: incentive, equity and benefits. Individual pay is determined by a number of factors including experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations.
