Data Engineer - Finance Data and Analytics

Job Description: We are seeking a passionate and highly skilled Cloud Analytics Data Engineer to join the IT Corporate Data and Insights group, under the Finance Data and Analytics Agile Persistent Team (APT). This role plays a critical part in designing, developing, and maintaining robust data pipelines and architecture for Enterprise Cloud Analytics solutions on modern cloud platforms such as Azure, Snowflake, and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC). With a primary focus on financial data domains, this role is essential in helping to Keep Intel Legal while enabling business stakeholders to make data-driven decisions through near real-time insights. You will contribute directly to driving business success, operational excellence, and accelerating Intel's transformation journey into the New Intel.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate needs to be:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 3-6 years of experience in data engineering, preferably in large-scale enterprise environments.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, Python is mandatory.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms and services like Azure, Databricks, Snowflake, etc.
• Familiarity with data warehousing, data lakes, and ETL/ELT architectures.
• Technical knowledge of SAP ECC, BW, S/4HANA, HANA, and SAP Analytics Cloud is highly beneficial.
• Experience in BI/Enterprise Reporting development using tools such as Power BI, BOBJ, WEBI, etc.
• Experience in AI/ML Ops is an added advantage.
• Strong enterprise data acumen across key domains such as Finance and Supply Chain is an added advantage.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and practices (e.g., sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives).
