Your RoleWe're looking for an individual contributor Data Engineer to help guide the evolution of our data infrastructure, establishing it as a scalable foundation for data-driven decision-making across the company.
In this role, you'll be hands-on with data pipeline development, infrastructure design, and data platform engineering. You'll partner closely with our product pods, data teams, and analysts to build high-impact data solutions, while also helping develop how we define, test, and manage our data warehouse. You'll bring modern practices to how we design data architectures, implement ETL/ELT processes, and collaborate on data infrastructure, while helping other engineers and analysts level up their craft.
There are also opportunities to develop skills in Infrastructure as Code, micro-services built on the data warehouse, warehouse to data visualization platform coordination and in depth data governance, should these areas interest you.

Your ImpactBuild capacity: Create the systems, standards, and mentorship that empower partner teams and unlock new, scalable use cases for data.
Shape our data infrastructure: Help define our data architecture and pipeline design as we grow. Owning data engineering best practices and platform design.
Drive product and business decisions: Collaborate with partner teams to enable faster consistent data delivery and reliable metrics.
Uplift the team: Help partner teams design better systems, access better insights, and ship better data solutions through tooling, guidance, and training.
Scale our stack: Expand and maintain deployment processes, testing, monitoring, and documentation that let us ship confidently.
Your Skillset3+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or a hybrid role spanning both
Deep fluency in SQL, with experience writing modular, maintainable code in dbt (or similar frameworks)
Strong experience with Python, Scala, or another data processing language
Experience with data modeling and data architecture
Hands-on with data warehouses (BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift, etc.), relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.), and NoSQL databases (Firestore, DynamoDB, MongoDB, etc.)
Experience with data pipeline orchestration tools (Airflow, Prefect, Dagster, etc.)
Comfortable exploring ambiguity and translating business requirements into well-defined data solutions
Experience supporting Product, Data Science, and Analytics teams with data infrastructure
