The Analytics & Information team’s vision is to leverage analytics and information to enhance the financial wellbeing of our customers and to provide richer customer experiences. We are also committed to providing high quality information to manage our business and meet regulatory obligations. We provide a range of services to our internal customers across all business units of the Group including strategy, architecture, data science, business intelligence, engineering and program delivery. You are a part of a team that will contribute to the systems engineering practice
Impact & contribution:
- As an Engineer , you will be required to build strong working relationships with key business and ES stakeholders to improve outcomes, drive engineering standards across Tribes and Portfolios, identify engineering improvement opportunities to improve our status on Risk, compliance, vulnerabilities and general health of our technical solutions, while improving our E2E engineering outcomes to drive better technical outcomes across A&I.
- You will do this with the agility and passion of a start-up; conscious that A&I supports every business unit and critical business processes across the bank, is custodian for personal and sensitive information on all of CBA’s customers and its subsidiaries and interfaces with and is key dependency for hundreds of other Tier 0 and Tier 1 systems across the group.
Roles & Responsibilities:

- An Engineer who can perform at a prominent level across a range of domains/technologies
- Good understanding of Hadoop frameworks
- Experience in using the Ab Initio toolset
- Experience in using AWS
- Experience in solution design

- Strong interpersonal & communication skills
- Be creative, innovative, pro-active in terms of finding solution
Essential Skills:
- 4-8 years + experience with Linux, CI/CD and automation
- Exposure to financial business systems and technologies
- Experience in BRE usage
- Control Center / job scheduling experience
- Continuous flows experience

Education Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering in Computer Science/Information Technology
